Our 2023 Fuller selection has been a pillar in the water industry in Alaska for many years - has served on our Board of Directors and has represented us as on AWWA’s board of directors. In addition, our recipient this year has been involved with AWWA Government Affairs, actively participating in AWWA’s “Water Matters” Fly-In to advocate for water issues that affect us here in Alaska and as a nation.

This recipient embodies what the George Warren Fuller Award entails. She has dedicated much of her career to the water supply field and her leadership abilities are sound and diplomatic. 

For these reasons we are proud to honor the Environmental Superintendent for the City and Borough of Sitka, Shilo Williams for the 2023 George Warren Fuller Award..
